A wine line that pays tribute to the terroir where the grapes come from, Finca Los Nobles is the expression of our affective heritage. For more than ninety years, a unique event has been taking place at our Luján de Cuyo vineyard estate: the natural intertwining of different varieties that makes these wines unrepeatable.
Intense and elegant aromas that are slowly opened in the glass and that are reminiscent of black fruits, ripe plums, cassis and blackberries together with a fine bouquet of violets and subtle toasted notes. The black fruits and hints of spices within a framework of great structure and body are felt in the mouth. Its firm and ripe tannins give it great volume and character, while its finish is long, velvety and fresh thanks to its balanced acidity. This wine has a promising future, its evolution will create new aromas and a wiser character each year.

|Soil and vine
||A characteristic that makes this wine unique is that it is the result of a natural blend at the vineyard of old vines of Malbec and Petit Verdot. The sector of the vineyard where the grapes are taken from is sandy-loam, with stones from regular size at half depth. No chemical herbicides are used at the vineyard, and biodynamic prac- tices are used for its care and treatment.
|Yield per hectare
||4,000 kg/ha, 28 hl/ha.
||The grapes are hand-picked in boxes from 18 to 20 kilograms, clusters are selected, then they are destemmed and after that the best grains are chosen. The must is macerated in cold for 7 to 10 days at a temperature from 15°C to 18°C. Then it is fermented with selected yeast in stainless steel tanks with a ca- pacity of 6,000 liters, with extraction works such as delestage and pressings. Once fermentation is finished, the wine is aged in new French oak barrels where they have their malolactic fermentation and it is matured between 18 and 20 months. Once the ageing is finished, the wine is stabilized, filtered and bottled. It is stored in the winery for at least 18 months before putting them in the market.

|Comments by the winemaker
||The dry and warm climate of the year 2009 resulted in an excel- lent raw material for this red of great character and personal- ity. It is a field blend (blend of vineyards) from plants that grew naturally mixed in the vineyard, which provides a unique and unrepeatable style, fine and elegant.
