Vintage 2008.
This wine is elaborated only with grapes of the Tempranillo variety grown at our vineyards in Barrancas, municipality of Maipú, located 25 km S-E from the capital city of Mendoza. Altitude: 780m asl. This vineyard has belonged to Luigi Bosca since 1926.
Violet red with blackberry and black fruits aromas. Intense wine with great body, complex, velvety finish. Ripe tannins mixed with the vanilla provided by six months ageing in American oak.
Climate
Long autumns, cold winters and mild summers with no rain, all of which provide the ideal conditions for attaining the best possible maturation and a great body.

Soil
Sandy-limestone, loamy permeable soil of alluvial origin with good drainage, supported by gravel and pebble. Soil inclination: 1% W-E and 1% S-N.
Oak Ageing
The bottles are stored at the winery for 4 to 6 months at a temperature bellow 18 ºC (64.4 ºF) before labeling.
